An asking price is an opinion. A sold price is a fact.
Anyone can list a card for anything. What matters is the row of prices people actually paid, in order, with the dates attached.

How it works
Nothing to type. Nothing to look up.
Scan it
Point the camera at the card. The app reads the player, the set, the year and the variant, so you are not typing any of it.
Price it
It finds what that exact card has sold for on eBay UK and takes the median of the most recent sales. Asking prices are not the same thing and are kept separate.
Watch it
Set a price you would sell at. You get a notification when the market reaches it, and your collection value updates as the comps move.
The app
One screen to point, one screen to price.
The card below is a real one. Its sold prices are the same illustrative comps every other figure on this page is computed from, so what the phone shows and what the tape shows cannot disagree.

One number for
how hot a card is.
out of 100
- How many recent sales
- A card with twenty sold comps in a month is a market. A card with two is an anecdote, and it scores lower for it.
- Which way the price is going
- The direction and steepness of the recent comps, not a single headline sale.
- How close it is to your target
- A card sitting just under the price you would sell at is more interesting than one nowhere near it, so it scores higher for you.
What the numbers are, and what they are not.
It reads eBay UK, not every market
Comps come from completed eBay UK listings. A card that mostly trades on Facebook groups or at a show will not be fully represented, and the app does not pretend otherwise.
Asking and sold are kept apart
Active listings are what sellers want. Sold listings are what buyers paid. They are labelled separately everywhere, and never averaged together.
Thin data is shown as thin
When only a couple of comparable sales exist, the card is flagged as low confidence instead of printing a confident-looking number over almost nothing.
A median is not a valuation
This is what similar cards recently sold for. It is not an appraisal, not an insurance value, and not advice about whether to buy or sell.
